As a developer, I'm deeply concerned about the number of compatibility issues with both Visual Studio 2003, and Visual Studio 2005 SP1. Microsoft is going as far as claiming Visual Studio 2003 (.NET CLR 1.1) is not supported in Vista.
Yeah - this and apparent incompatibilities with SQL Server 2005/Express did in Vista for me. I live in those apps, and if I can't run them safely - well...
Also, Vista breaks many ISO image mounters. Nero released a 'Vista Compatible' version which was rendered compatible mostly by the removal of ImageDrive. VirtualCloneCD is free - and it kinda works in Vista - but it's not nearly as stable as it is in XP.

From the Visual Studio .NET 2003 on Windows Vista Issue List:
"While Visual Studio 2003 is not supported on Windows Vista..."
That is teh suck! Well I guess I won't be installing Vista on any of my developer machines.
What happened to the minimum 10 years of support for Business and Developer products?
